107 APPROVED: portion of that open public street in the City of Santa Aha, eo,iuimnly known as West First Street, briefly described in Resolution of Intention No. 806, and ordered done in Resolution No. 812, and the of ~rustees being duly convened in open session pro- ceeded to and did publicly open, e~amine and declare all bids received. Bids were received as follows: Item 1. The regrading to a subgrade and the lay- ing of a 5" concrete pavement with belt finish wear- ing surface, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment and material on an estimate of 75,59V.OV square feet. Item 2. The trenching, furmishing, and laying of house branch sewers, from the m~in sewer to the curb line, complete with furnishing of all neoessar~ and material on an estimate of 168 linear ~quipment feet. R. Ford for the work or improvement as the lowest responsible bidder therefor at the price named in his bid. T~ustee J.W.~Abbs then introduced a resolution awarding the contract to B. R. Ford, ~he resolution was ordered filed, rossi, considered and desig~nated Resolution of Award No. 817. The roll was called and the resolution passed by the vote of the following named members of the Board of T~ustees. A~s: T~usteee J.W.Tubbs, C.E.Ohapman, H.H.Dale, W. A. Oreenleaf and John G. Mitchell. Trustees None. Noes~ Absent: Trustees N~e. On motion of i~-ustee Oreenleaf, seconded by Dale and carried, the Clerk was instructed to return cheek to the unsuccessful bidders. On motion of ~t-ustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and carried, August 14th, the Board adjourned to Monday, 7:30 P.M. 1922.
