On motion of Trustee I~le, <br />duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, Mr. Nicholson's <br />request was referred to the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Street Superintendent Dahl reported that the paving <br />of West Pine Street between Flower and Baker Street~ <br />has been completed. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, <br />duly seconded by Dale and carried, the report was <br />accepted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale <br />and carried, President Pro Tem. W. A. Greenleaf, wa~ <br />authorized to sig~n the warrant for the paving of We~ <br />Pine Street from Flower to Baker St. <br /> <br />On motion of ~¥ustee ~ubbs, duly seconded by I~le <br />and carried, the Clerk was instructed to sign the <br />Board's approval to map Tract No. ~10, a subdivisio~ <br />within the three mile lirmit, after streets therein <br />have been widened to sixty feet. <br /> <br />A petition signed by property owners on Eastside <br />Ave. was presented; petition requesting improvement <br />of Eastside Avenue from Fourth Street to Central <br />Avenue with five inch concrete pavement with belt <br />finish wearing surface. On.motion of ~ustee Tublm~, <br />duly seconded ~ Dale and carried, same was referre~ <br />to the City Engineer for checking and to ~eport at <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />A petition requesting the pavement of East Santa <br />Clara Avenue from Main to Santiago Street was <br />presented. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, seconded by <br />Dale and carried,, same was referred to the City <br />hngineer for checking. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, the Chaix~nan was instructed to appoint <br />proper party to take up with Pacific Electric P~il- <br />way Company the matter of traffic congestion on <br />North Main Street between 5th and 6th Sis, due to <br />cars being parked on double track instead of single <br />while motox~man turns P. E. traffic signal. Street <br />Superintendent Dahl was appointed to take the <br />matter up with the Pacific Electric and request that <br />they move their traffic signal sufficient distance <br />to euable care to be parked on single track, <br />eliminating usual traffic congestion. <br /> <br />thereby <br /> <br /> <br />
