Friedman <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Map Tract No.2~O. <br /> <br />Board for Brentwood Square; installation, maintenance <br />and lighting of the lights to be without expense to the <br />City: On motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by <br />Chapman and carried, the request was granted under the <br />suoervision of the City EIectrician and Street Superin- <br />tendent. <br /> <br />A communication from A. S. Ralph pertaining to the <br />insurance on the City motor equipment in reference to <br />having the name "City of Santa Aha" plainly painted on <br />the side of each and every car insured under the policy <br />was read. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by <br />Chapman and carried, the matter Sas referred to a <br />Committee, Trustee Tubbs being appointed as such Committee <br /> <br />In the matter of the protest of property owners and <br />residents located near the corner of Second and Broadway, <br />protesting a~ainst an express company using the northwest <br />corner of the above location, and petitioning the Board <br />to institute action to abate the nuisance: On motion of <br />Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, <br />the matter was referred to the Police Committee. <br /> <br />The monthly reports of the various City Officers Were, <br />on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleat <br />and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants <br />on the Treasurer to cover the demands as audited by the <br />Finance Committee. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, M. P. Miller was granted a permit to conduct <br />a cafe at 403 East Fourth Street, and Clerk instructed <br />to issue necessary license for same. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and <br /> <br />carried, L. Friedman was granted a permit to conduct a <br />Junk shop at 1002 ~ast Fourth. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to sign the Boa~l's <br />approval of Map Tract No. 2VO. <br /> <br /> <br />
