M. <br /> <br /> The request of Mrs. Geo. O. Chapman for permission to <br /> plant Walnut trees in the parking in front of her <br /> property at 602 West First and 10.1 South Van Ness, <br /> was referred to the Park Board on motion of Trustee <br /> Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and carried. ' <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Greenle-'f <br />and carried, L. O. Va~ghn was granted a permit, to erect <br />temporary sheds to be used ~s an auto parking station <br />on Lots 1-4-8-8 in Block V, corner Second and Bush <br />Streets, and permission to place gasoline tanks and ' <br />pump on Lot 8, sanfe block, ~nder the super.vision of <br />the Building Inspector and Fire Chief. <br /> <br /> The request, of Jack Olivarri for permission to erect a <br /> frame building in the rear of his place of business, <br /> <br />109 South Main Street, to be used as a garage and <br />battery service ~station, was granted on motion of T~uste <br />Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and carried. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, Mrs. Clara Haycock was granted permission <br />to cut the curb at 809 W. Highland for a driveway, under <br />the supervision of the ~tr. eet Superintendent. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, the bonds bf Coleman Brothers, of $500.00 <br />each, for plumbing and private contract sewer work, were <br />referred to the Chair for approval. <br /> <br />Prof. Gustlin, et al, were begbre the Board requesting <br />that the Board amend the License Ordinance so as to <br />exempt Music Teachers from paying a City License. On <br />motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, the matter was referred to the Board as a <br />Committee of the whole. <br /> <br /> <br />
