Mitchell. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Matter pertaining to <br /> <br />Liberty Bonds. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Matter pertaining to curb <br /> <br />Fifteenth Street. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids on Dump Body. <br /> <br />A co~o_uication from the Covina chamber of Co~erce <br />inviting this City to be their guests'at the Inter- <br />City Exposition to be held at Covina April 28th and <br />29th was read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, dulyI <br /> same was accepted and! <br /> <br />The application of the Robertson Electric Company for i <br />permission to hang an electric sign for the Reid Motor! <br />Company, northwest corner Fifth and Spurgeon Streets, <br />was granted, on motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded <br />by Chapman and carried, under the proper supervision. <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale <br />and carried, the boud of the Meyberg Electric Company <br />to do electrical work, was referred to the Chair for <br />apDrova 1. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly sedonded by <br />Chapman and carried, the sewer contractor for B.R.Ford~ <br />et al., was granted a permit for house connection <br />sewers on that portion, not yet opened, of Nineteenth <br />Street between Eucalyptus and Greenleaf Streets. <br /> <br /> A petition was presented, signed by property ~wners <br /> in the VO0 block between Fourth and Fifth Streets and <br /> Porter and Lacy, giving their Consent for R.P.Mitchell! <br /> to erect a frame dwelling to Consist of seven rooms. <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman <br /> and carried, the Building Inspector was instructed to <br /> issue the necessary permit. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br /> and carried, President Mitchell was instructed to dis-! <br /> pose of the remaining Liberty Loan Bonds and deposit <br /> the money derived from sale of same in the Special <br /> Property Tax Fund. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Green- <br /> leaf and carried, the matter pertaining to curb on <br /> Fifteenth Street from French Street t o the Santa Fe <br /> Railway Company right of way was referred to the City <br /> Engineer. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale <br /> and ca~rled, the Clerk was instructed to open bids <br /> <br />seconded by Chapman and carried, <br />ordered placed on file. <br /> <br /> <br />
