In Re Request Denied Hughes and Harrison In Re Hescinding Resolution No. V88~. In Rs East and West Seventeenth St. received for furnishing a ten gauge boiler plate garbage dump body and model "C" horizontal hydraulic hoist for the Garbage Department. Two bids were re- ceived from the Edward R. Bacon Company, who bid as follows: - $922.20 and $994.20. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the bid of $994.20 wss accepted on account of the construction of the body, and the Clerk was instruete( to retttrn the certified check which accompanied the b of $922.20. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the request of Hughes and Harrison for permission to hang an advertising sign on East Fourth between the Crescent Hardware and Cochems Bakery was denied. Trustee J. W. Tubbs introduced a resolution to vacate and abandon any and all proceedings taken prior to March 6th, 1922, in the adoption of Resolution No. V66~! for work to be done and improvement to be made upon a portion of East Seventeenth Street and West Seventeenth Street. The resolution was ordered filed, read, con- sidered, designated Resolution No. VVS~, t he roll was called and the resolution was passed by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees J. W. Tubbs,- C. H. Chapman, H.H.Dale W. A. Greenleaf and J. O..Mitchell. Trustees None. Nee s: Absent: Trustee ~. Trustee s None. A. Greenleaf introduced a resolution adopt- ing plans and specifications for work to be done and improvement to be made on and along a portion of that open public street in the city of Santa Ana, con~nonly known as East Seventeenth Street, also on and along a portion of that open public street in said city comm~ known as West Seventeenth Street. The resolution was ordered filed, read, con- sidered, designated Resolution No. 777; the roll was called and the resolution passed by the affirmative vote of the following named members of said Board of Trustees: Ayes: Trustees J.~.Tubbs, C.
