Dale and <br />carried, the statement from the Southern Counties Gas <br />Company showing the amount of Franchise Tax due the City <br />to be $3,V8§.8§, was accented and the Clerk instructed to <br />deposit the voucher to the credit of the General Fund. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to sign the Board's <br />approval of Map Tract No. 284, a subdivision outside the <br />City Limits within the three mile zone. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman <br /> <br />and carried, Street Superlnteudent Dahl was instructed <br />to repair Fifth Stre~ from Baker Street ~est a~-~ee~m- <br />mend-_d by th-- ~.~ En~, cost of same not to exceed <br />$2000.00 and to be paid from the Special Property Tax <br />Fund. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, J. G. Mitchell, President of the Board of <br />Trustees, was instructed to represent this City at a <br />meeting and luncheon of the Southern Section League of <br />California Municipalities to be held at James Cafe, <br /> <br />1 P. M. sharp, May 4th, 1922. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale <br />carried, City Attorney Scott was instructed to start <br />proceedings against Steele Finley for the amount collect~ <br />by him for inspection fees in paving Orange Avenue. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids <br />for the City Garbage - bids to be opened June 5th, 1922, <br />7:30 P. M. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman and <br />carried, City Attorney Scott's report on matter pertain- <br />ing to East First Street Improvement Bonds was accepted <br />and made of Record. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Tr~stee W.
