In Re <br /> <br />nesolution Ordering <br />Plans and Soecifications <br /> <br />Durant Street. <br /> <br />date of said <br />said canvass <br /> <br />1st day of May, 1922, meet and proceed to ope~ and <br />canvass said returns and now, immediately upon the <br />completion of such canvass, it appears that a majority <br />of all the votes cast are iu favor of said annexation, <br /> <br /> Now l~erefore, the said Board of Trustees does <br />order the following report entered upon its minutes, <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> That the whole ntunber of votes cast at said <br />election is 3425 that the number of votea cast in favo~ <br />of annexation is 329; that the number of votes cast <br />against annexation if <br /> <br /> That from the canvass of said votes it appears <br />that a majority of all the votes cast is in favor of <br />annexation and that the territory described as follows <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> All of the Northwest quarter (NW~) of Section <br /> Nineteen (19), Township Five (5) South, Range <br /> Nine (?) West, S. B. B. & M., lying West of the <br /> Pacific Electric Railway Company's forty foot <br /> rlgbt-of-way, all in the ~ounty of Orange, State <br /> of California. <br /> <br /> -- is thereby annexed to the city of Santa Aha. <br /> <br /> It is further ordered that t~e said Clerk, as <br />Clerk of such municipal corporation, shall transmit <br />to the Secretary of State and to the Board of Super- <br />visors of the County in which said ct~y is located., <br />a copy of this report as entered upon the minutes of <br /> <br /> this meeting, together with a statement showing the <br /> election, the time and the results of <br /> as provided by law. <br /> <br />Trustee W. A. Greenleaf introduced a resolution re- <br />quiring the City Engineer to furnish plans and speci- <br />fications and careful estimates of cost for the im- <br />provement of ~rant Street from the northerly line of <br />West Washington Avenue to the center line of West <br />Fifteenth Street. <br /> <br /> The resolution was ordered.filed, read, considere~ <br />designated Resolution No. VS0, the roll was calle4 and <br />the resolution passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Trustees C. H. Chapman, H. ti. Dale, <br /> W. A. Greenleaf, John G. Mitchell. <br /> Trustees None. <br /> Trustee J. W. Tubbs. <br /> <br /> Noes: <br /> <br /> Absent: <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee H.
