Santa Aha City H~i. May 8th, 1922. Board met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by President Mitchell. Present: Trustees J. ~. Tubbs, C. H. Chapman, H. H.Dale, ~. A. Greenleaf, Jolmu G. Mitchell and the Clerk. In Re Permit Board of Education. In Re Permit M. 0. Hawk. I'n Re Communication ~'rank Thomson. In Re Chatauqua Committee ~equest. In Re Petition Sidewalk and Curb Durant and W. 16th In Re Permit ~oerch & Jacobs. V:30 P. M. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and carried, the request of the Board of Education for permission to purchase three pieces of land for school purposes, was granted. The application of M. 0. Hawk for permission to erec~ an automotive service station on the Northeast corne~ of Main and McFadden Streets, w6s granted, on motion' of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and car- tied, under the proper supervision. The ~mmunication of Frank Thomson with reference to' the condition of Garfield Street between First and Third and East Fourth Street in front of his place o~ business, was taken under advisement, on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by C~ a~nan and carried. 0~ Notion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the request from the Chatauqda Cormmitte~ for permission to erect a tent facing on Third Streetl between Birch and Ross. Streets and permission to waive the license fees from May 20th to 26th inclusive, was referred to the Board as a Committee of the whole, A petition signed by a number of property owners on ~rant Street asking that side walk and curb be order~ ed in on the South and East of the Jeffer~n School, ~ was read, and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, deferred. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly action on same was seconded by Chapman and carried, permission was granted to Loerch and Jacobs to conduct an auto parking station and to erect a stucco building and sheds on the Southeast corner of Third and Bush Streets.
