City Limits Road. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, the Union 0il Company were granted per- <br />mission to install two 550 gallon gasoline tanks and <br />erect an electric sign at their place of business, 1st <br />and Broadway, under the supervision of the Fire Chief <br />and Electric Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br />and carried, permission was granted property owners on <br />Cubbon Street from Main to Orange Avenue, t o Construct <br />the sidewalk adjoining the curb on the above portion of <br />street. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale <br />and carried, all bids received for furnishing the City <br />Water Department a pump according to specifications as <br />advertised, were rejected and the Clerk ~nstructed to <br />return the certified checks which accompanied the same. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee q~bbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br />and carried, the mag of the Owens 'A'ract, a subdivision <br />on Na~n Street north of the bridge was referred to the <br />City h~ngineer, Sewer Committee and Sewer Department. <br /> <br />On motion of T~stee Chapman, duly seconded by DRle and <br />carried, it was decided that special counsel be employee <br />to help City Attorney Scott in defending the City <br />against the suit of Mrs. Roberts. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dale, <br />and carried, Trustee C. H. <br />mission to leave the State <br /> <br />duly seconded by Greenleaf <br />Chapman was granted per- <br />for a period of two weeks. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chap- <br />man and carried, B. R. Ford was granted permission to <br />close Shelton Street from 5th to 6th in order to im- <br />prove same with a five inch concrete pavement belt <br />wearing surface, according to his contract with rropert <br />owners. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />~d carried, Street Superintendent Dahl was instructed <br />to cooperate with the County Road Department in repair- <br />ing the road along the North City Limits west of Flower <br />Street, by gradin? and furnishing the gravel for same. <br /> <br /> <br />
