W. Jenkins and wife, et al/Towner Street <br /> <br /> for width of fifty feet from 8th St. to 10th St. <br /> were accepted and the C~rk instructed to have the <br /> same recorded. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Collier, seconded by Purinton <br /> and ~ngr. <br /> and carried, Cit$ AttOrney/~e~e instructed to pre- <br /> <br /> pare plans and specifications and necessary <br /> resolutions for forming lighting district covering <br /> N. Broadway Park, it being understoodthat the <br /> City will not.be called upon to furni~ electric <br /> current for these lines in case the proceedngs <br /> are not carried through. <br /> <br /> On m~ion of Trustee Collier, seconded by McPhee <br /> and carried, request of Robertson Electric Company <br /> for permission to install demonstrator lighting <br /> standard at S.W. corner 4th and Main Streets was <br /> grated, under supervision Electric Inspector. <br /> <br /> An application from the Padfic Electric Railway <br /> Company for amendment to franchise ordinance cover- <br /> ing operation of bus lines in the city, asking <br /> increase in ~a~e from five to seven cents was read. <br /> On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Purinton <br /> and carried, action was deferred for one week and <br /> City ~lerk instructed to communica~ with various <br /> cities to learn amount of fare now being charged <br /> at other pla cem <br /> <br /> <br />
