<br /> This being the time and place set forth in Resolution of
<br /> Intention 'No. 2288, to order the work and improvement
<br /> made, in on and along portion of Flower Street between
<br /> Santa Clara Avenue and North Park Boulevard, and the Cit
<br /> Council being duly convened in open session, proceeded
<br /> to hear and pass upon all protests presented.
<br />
<br />No owner or property liable to be assessed for said work
<br />made written protest or any protest against the proposed
<br />work or against the extent of the district to be assessed
<br />therefor and no persons appearing to protest or object or
<br />show any cause why the improvement should not be carried
<br />out in accordance with Resolution of Intention No. 2288,
<br />the City Council deemed that it had acquired Jurisdiction
<br />to order the proposed improvement.
<br />
<br />A resolution was introduced ordering the work to be done
<br />and improvement made as briefly set out in Eesolutton of
<br />Intention No, 226~. The resolution was ordered filed,
<br />read, considered, designated Resolution Ordering Work
<br />
<br />NO. 2273 and passed by the following vote:
<br />
<br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, B.O. Sutton,
<br /> Stanley E. Goode, F.L. Purtnton.
<br />
<br /> Noes, Trustees None.
<br />
<br />Absent, Trustees W.J. Kelly.
<br />
<br />This being the day and hour set for hearing protests or
<br />appeals of any person interested in the work, improvement
<br />or assessment made therefor for the improvement of First,
<br />Main, Bush, Cypress, Spurgeon, Orange, French, Maple,
<br />Oak, Hickory, Lacy, Ha]laday, Garfield, Cedar, Evergreen
<br />and Minnie Streets, in accordance with Resolution of
<br />Intention No. 2208 and the City Council being duly con-
<br />vened in open session, proceeded to hear and pass upon
<br />all protests presented.

<br /> No ownem appearing to protest or object against the
<br />assessment or any other of the proceedings taken, a reso-
<br />lution overruling protests or objections to assessment,
<br />approving assessment and ~dering the Street Superinten-
<br />dent to attach warrant and record, was duly introduced,
<br />read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2274 and
<br />passed by the following vote:
