On motion of Trustee Witmer, seconded by Warner and car- tied, the deed from John William Sackman and Gertrude E. Sackman, his wife covering a twenty foot strip on the Westerly side of the Bowl, was accepted and ordered recorded; and the Clerk was instructed to write a letter of thanks to MP..Sackman for the deed. ,, On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, applications to conduct con~nercial poultry yards in the City of Santa Aha, were granted as follows: H. E. Capron Mrs. J.A. Lipscombe 2602 N. Flower St. 825 Cypress Avenue On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the monthly reports for February of the City Officers were referred to the Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw the monthly warrants according to demands audited by the Finance Committee · On motion of Trustee HaaenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to investigate the proposal of Chas. A. Peddicord to pay $35.00 per month to salvage the dump. The Council as a whole were appointed as the committee. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the application of Rev. Wilfred Parham, repre- senting the Inter-Denominational Churches, for permission to erect a gospel tent on South B~oadway between Cubbon and Fairview Avenue, was referred to a committee. Truste, Hasenjaeger and Warner appointed as the comittee. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Witmer and carried, the ~etition of residents and property owners requesting the removal of dog kennels located at 1317 W. Eighth Street, was referred to the Chief of Police and the Health Department. On motion of Trtm tee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the request of Clyde C. Downing for an appropri- ation of $75.00 per month for stenographer's salary in the City Attorneyts office for the period from January 1st to June 3Oth, 1932, was granted.
