Williams for a license <br />to conduct a taxicab business at 506A North Main Street <br />was referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, <br />tied, the communication of J. <br /> <br />seconded by Warner and car- <br />Parley Smith, Attorney for <br /> <br />John H. Wilson,stating that Mr. Wilson is still willing <br />to pay the license and proper insurance covering the <br />operation of taxicabs, was referred to the ~inance <br />Committee · <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Witmer and car- <br /> ried, the application of Robertson Electric Corporation <br /> to hang an electric sign for Station Bros., at 104 <br /> Spurgeon Street, was granted under the supervision of <br /> the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br /> , <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, secc~ded by McBride and c ar- <br />tied, the applications of Shipkey & Pearson, Inc. and of <br />George Dunton to rezone the southwest and the northeast <br />corners of Tenth and Broadway from Courts and Apartment <br />Zone to Neighborhood Business Zone, was referred to the <br />Planning Com~is sion. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Witmer ~nd car- <br />ried, the protest of property ov~ers and residents in the <br />vicinity of First and Bristol Street against the rezoning <br />of Lot 1 Block A Tract No. 132 from Residential Zone to <br />Neighborhood Business Zone, was referred to the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, secc~ded by Witmer and car- <br />ried, the recon~endation of the Planning Commission was <br />accepted and the application of A. B. Watson to rezone <br />Lot i Block A, Tract No. 132 for Neighborhood Business <br />Zone was ~dented. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the recommendations of the committee appointed to <br />investigate the proposal of Chas. A. Peddicord to salvage <br />the dump and pay the City $2§.00 per month, were accepted <br />requiring Mr. Peddicord to file a bond covering the pay- <br />men~ over a period of three years and upkeep of the dump~ <br />with instructions to the Clerk to notify the present care <br />takers to vacate by April 15th, 19~2. <br /> <br /> <br />
