Noes, Trustees Absent, Trustees was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 956 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, Paul B. Witmer, A.C. Hasenjaeger, John Knox. None. None. At this time Mayor Knox requested Trustee Witmer to take the Chair, in order that he might be excused from meeting ,, On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the application of R. 0. Todd to construct a lath house, 15~x40t at 9~1 S. Main Street to be used for Cactus Nursery was granted on condition that Lath House be painted and plans submitted to the Building Inspector for approval · On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by' Warner and car- ried, the recon~nendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and A. H. Allen, Asa Hoffman, DeWitt Dudley, Oliver Halsel and Fleetwood Bell were appointed members of the gity Forestry Board. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- ried, Walter S. Smith, Manager of the West Coast Theatre, was appointed a special police officer without pay. On motion of Trustee Warner, secc~ded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the applications of Shipkey & Pearson, Inc., and of George Dunton to rezone the southwest and the northeas~ corners of T~nth and Broadway from Courts and Apartment Zone to Neighborhood Business Zone,w~e denied on recom- mendation of the Planning Commission. ,, On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the City Council adjou~-ned.
