W. Meador for the job as care- <br />taker of the Bowl, were taken under advisement. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the warrant in ~nount of $2439.28 from the Southern <br />California Edison Company Ltd., covering franchise tax <br />for the year 1931, was accepted and the Clerk instructed <br />to deposit same. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, ths bond of the Payne Furnace and Supply Company <br />in amount of $2000.00 for Plumbing, was referred to the <br />Chair for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Witmer and <br />carried, the application of B. T. Dowden to distribute a <br />free shopping news for merchants in the Grand Central <br />Market, was referred to the City Attorney to report in <br />one week. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger ~ seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the action of the Santa Ana Baseball Association <br />was approved giving the concessions rights at the Bowl <br />to the Boy Scouts during the baseball season. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Witmer and car- <br />ried, the application of M. R. Kellogg to erect an auto <br />court on the south side of Roe Drive and Santa Ana Boule- <br />vard, was referred to the Planning Commission for recom- <br />mendation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by McBride <br />carried, W. 0. Marriott was appointed caretaker at the <br />City ts Playground in Forest Home for a period of five <br />months at $100.00 per month. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Ayes, Trustees j.L. McBride, A.C.
