Walker for permission to <br />hang a banner:, at his place of business, 505 E. Third <br />Street for a period of thirty· days, was amended on motion <br />of Trustee Warner, seconded by Witmer and carried, that <br />the Chief of Police be instructed to remove all ban~e~m <br />and sign now in place which are contrary to the ordinance <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, the bond of the United Plumbing & Supply Company <br />in amount of $2000.00 as Plumbing Contractors, was refer- <br />red to the Chair for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br />O~ motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, the monthly reports of the City O~ficers for the <br />month of April were referred 'to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />hied, the Clerk was intructed to draw warrants according <br />to demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Roy Beall, President of the Parents Teachers Assn. <br /> appeared before the City Council requesting information <br /> regarding the amount the City will donate to the S~,-wner <br /> Playgrounds for this year. On mo~ ion of Trustee Hasen- <br /> jaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the matter of <br /> donation to Summer Playgrounds was taken under advisement <br /> until such time aft~ it has been presented to the Board <br /> of Education. <br /> <br /> On mot$on of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Witmer and <br /> carried, the application of O. R. Stapp, representing the <br /> Independent Ice Distributors, for permission to make a <br /> fill six inches high between the curb and sidewalk at <br /> ~heir place of business at Fifteenth and Main Street, en <br /> which to erect a sign, was referred to the Forestry Board <br /> . <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and <br /> carried, the communication of the Orange County Builders <br /> Exchange with copy c~ Resolution adopted by them urging <br /> a greater county-wide co-operation for the betterment of <br /> Orange County, was referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
