The motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger te deSY the application of C.R. Walker for permission to hang a banner:, at his place of business, 505 E. Third Street for a period of thirty· days, was amended on motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Witmer and carried, that the Chief of Police be instructed to remove all ban~e~m and sign now in place which are contrary to the ordinance On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the bond of the United Plumbing & Supply Company in amount of $2000.00 as Plumbing Contractors, was refer- red to the Chair for approval or disapproval. O~ motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and carried, the monthly reports of the City O~ficers for the month of April were referred 'to the Finance Committee. . On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- hied, the Clerk was intructed to draw warrants according to demands audited by the Finance Committee. . Mrs. Roy Beall, President of the Parents Teachers Assn. appeared before the City Council requesting information regarding the amount the City will donate to the S~,-wner Playgrounds for this year. On mo~ ion of Trustee Hasen- jaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the matter of donation to Summer Playgrounds was taken under advisement until such time aft~ it has been presented to the Board of Education. On mot$on of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Witmer and carried, the application of O. R. Stapp, representing the Independent Ice Distributors, for permission to make a fill six inches high between the curb and sidewalk at ~heir place of business at Fifteenth and Main Street, en which to erect a sign, was referred to the Forestry Board . On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and carried, the communication of the Orange County Builders Exchange with copy c~ Resolution adopted by them urging a greater county-wide co-operation for the betterment of Orange County, was referred to the Finance Committee.
