488 On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the Oity Oounoil adjourned to Monday, May 23rd, 1932, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber. APPROVED: Santa Ana City Hall. May 23rd, 1932. 7:30 P.M. City Council met in ~egular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. Present: Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Absent: Trustees None. In Re Request Deco Adv. Co. In Re Endorsement S.A. Symphony Orchestra. In Re Request Cantando Club. In Re Electric Sign. In Re Health Report. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the request of the Deco Advertising Company that company~ located outside the City soliciting, selling and erecting Neon signs be charged a city license, was re- ferred to the City Attorney. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and carried, the request of a committee composed of Messrs. John Knox, Gene Kahen and W.K. Hillyard, for the Council! endorsement of a program to be given June 8th by the Santa Aha Symphony Orchestra, was granted. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn a~d carried, the request of the Csm~ando Club for an donation of $100.00 to make up a dSfiCit in their organi- zation, was denied. Fourth Street, ~as granted under supervision of the Electrical Inspector. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the monthly report for April Of the Health Department was referred to the Finance Committee.
