No. 2335 <br /> <br />Award--Casing, Starters, etc. <br /> <br />Commiss ioner. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by penn and carried <br />the request of Rev. U.E. Harding for permission to use <br />Bi, ch Park for bre~dcas~ of radio programs, was referred <br />to Trustee Hasenjaeger with power to act. <br /> <br />This being the time and place fixed for the opening of <br />bids or proposals for the drilling of a water well loca- <br />ted in the 600 block on North Olive Street, in the City <br />pursuant to notice inviting sealed bids thereon and the <br />City Council being duly convened in open session <br />to and did publicly open, examine and declare all bids <br /> <br />received as follows: <br /> <br />Walter O. Hill <br />W.D. Anderson <br />Barber & Bridge Drilling Co. <br />Saunders Bros. <br />Roger Avertll <br />Lyon Bros. <br />Chas. Wilson <br /> <br />Totals <br /> <br />$1995.00 <br />2796.50 <br />2025.00 <br />a590.00 <br />4186.00 <br />2450.00 <br />b,'~5.00 <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee NoBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the bids were referred to the Water Superinten- <br />dent for checking to report back at this meeting. <br />lng the report, the City Council awarded the contract to <br />Walter O. Hill as the lowest responsible bidder therefor. <br />The Clerk was instructed to return the checks of the <br />unsuccessful bidders. A resolution was introduced award- <br />ing the.contract to Walter O. Hill. The resolution was <br />ordered filed, read, considered, designated Resolution <br />No. 2~4 and Dassed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees ~.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, W. HJ Penn, <br /> A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B.
