McBride. <br />. <br /> <br />On motion~of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the application of C. J. Alexander for a permit <br />to erect a service station at the southeast corner of <br />First and Bristol Streets, was referred to the Planning <br />Commission for recon~n~ndation as no written or oral pro- <br />tests had been filed. On recommendation of the Planning <br />Cormmission and on motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by <br />Penn and carried, the application of C. J. Alexander to <br />erect a service station was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and car- <br />tie d~ the proposed ordinance to regulate the hours and <br />time~ for the carrying on and conducting the business of <br />Barbering in the City of Santa Ana, was taken under <br />advisement. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the petition of the Veterans' Welfare Board for <br />the cancellation of certain taxes appearing as a lien <br />against, property owned by the Board, was granted on the <br />recon~nendation of the City Attorney. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the demand of B. Uttley in amount of $1~,928.00 <br />covering damages for personal injuries, etc.,received <br />in an automobile at the intersection of Tenth and B~oad- <br />way, was taken under advisement. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to make a written <br />demand on the County Board of Supervisors for the sum of <br />$50,588.00 for repairs, maintenance and construction of <br />streets in the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, <br />carried, the monthly reports <br /> <br />seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />of City Officers for the <br /> <br />month of June, were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carrie d, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants on <br />monthly demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, action was continued for one week on the propos~ <br /> <br /> <br />
