Santa Ana City Hall. July llth, 1932. City Council met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. Present: Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner~ W.H. Penn, A.C. Hasenjaeger, Paul B. Witmer. absent: ~rustees None. In Re On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and Cormnunication carried~ the communication of 0. V. and Edith Barton ?~ith 0.V. & Edith Barton. reference to the good work of the Rescue Squad of the Fire Department, was accepted and filed. In Re On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and Petition carried, the petition of Dr. Loman C. Adams and ~ilo L. Dr. Loman C. Adams. Berenson to have a one hour oarking limit placed in front of their offices at 108-10 E. Eighth Street, was referred to the City Enozneer and Trustee Hasenjaeger. In Re On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and Special Police Officer. carried, the request of the Board of Education to have Dr. P~rker deputized as special police officer at the Swimming Pool at the Polytechnic High School, was referre~ to the Police Department. In Re On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and Communication cacried, the communication of the Orange County Civic Or. Co. Civic League. League with reference to the city budget for the coming year, was received and filed. In Re On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by McBride and car- Application tied, the application of Elmer ~. Wilson for permission for Wrestling Show. to hold a wrestling show in the Santa Aha Bowl on the evening of July 2'lst, 1932,was granted subject to schedule of percentage of receipts as agreed upon by the Council .and Mr. Wilson. In Re On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and Application carried, the application of Walter D~Vaul for permission Walter De Vaul. to conduct a Sandwich Shop in residence at 8~8 S. Main Street, was granted on recorm~endation of the Planning Commission. In Re On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by W~rner and carried, Communication the request of B. V. CurrY, Director of the Dept. of B. V. Curry. Social Welfare, for transportation expenses in amount of $12.00, for Pedro Murillo to Mexico, was granted.
