Santa Ana City Hall. <br /> <br />July 25th, 1932. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular adjourned session. <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, <br /> A.C. Hasenjaeger, Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br />Absent: T~ustees J.L. McBride. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Indian Play <br /> <br />in S.A. Stauffer. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the Chair was instructed to appoint a con~nittee <br />to meet with Wm. H. Shirley with reference to using the <br />Santa Ana Bowl for the production of an Indian Play. <br />Trustees Hasenjaeger, Warner and Penn were appointed as <br />the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the con~nunication of the Newport Harbor Chamber <br />of Conmmerce expressing its appreciation for Santa Ana~s <br />participation in the Annual Tournament of Lights at <br />Newport Beach was accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the application of the Santa Ana Theatre Guild <br />for a permit to stage a parade on the streets to adver- <br />tise"The Wet Parade", a stage presentation of the Guild, <br />was referred to a committee with power to act. Trustees <br />Warner, McBride and Hasenjaeger were appointed as the <br />ccmmit t e e. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the report of the Health Department for. the <br />month of June was referred to the Finance Cormmittee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the protest of A. J. Visel, owner of a four <br />family flat at the southwest corner of Third and Ross <br />Streets, against the music and dancing at a late hou~ at <br />the dance hall on the opposite corner, which disturbs his <br />tenants, was referred to the Police Department. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br /> carried, the bond of C. R. Stauffer in amount of $2000.00 <br /> for Plumbing and Gas Fitting was referred to the Chair <br /> for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br /> <br />
