Hyan for a refund on city license on her rooming,house at 320 W. Second Street for two months, was denied. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried~ the application of C. L. and G. C. Clark and V. E. Speich for license to sell "On-Sale" Beverages at the Fairyland Dance Hall, Southeast corner of Main and Goetz Avenue, was granted with the provision that license will be revoked if the firm does not comply with the Ordinance regulating said business. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seoonded by LeGaye and carried, the application of Allen-Trusty & Sons for per- mission to hang electrical signs for Geo. C. Johnson at 102 W. First Street and for Metal Craft at 807 E. Fir st Street, was granted under supervision of the Electrical Inspector. ,, On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried the application of Frank A. Clift for a permit to drive a taxicab for Richard Myers, ov~er of the Broadway Cab at 309 N. Broadway, was referred to the Taxicab Com~issio On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the application of Frank A. Clift to drive a taxicab, was granted on recommendation of the Taxicab Cormmission. ,, On motion of'Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the recommendation of the City Engineer was accepted and the City Attorney was instructed to p~epare an easement approving the granting of a right-of-way to the Talbert Drainage District for the p~rpose of con- structing and maintaining a drainage pipe line across the the Joint Outfall Sewer Screening Plant property. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the matter with reference to settlement of con- demnation claims on property along the Joint Outfall Sewe: right-of-way, was referred to a conmnittee composed of Trustee HasenJaeger, City Engineer and City Attorney.
