On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and Carried. the monthly reports of city officers for the month of October were referred to the Finance Committee. 0n motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- ried, the Clerk was authorized to draw warrants according to demands audited by the Finance Committee. ,, On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried. the application of Chas. E. and Lulu B. Chatlain for the rezoning of a triangular plot bounded by Bush Street, Santa Clara Avenue and the Southern Pacific Ry~ tracks to Neighborhood Business Zone to be used for Nursery Stock, was referred to the Planning Commission. , On motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the application of Chas. Hoffman for the job as supervisor or gardener of the City Parks and citing his qualifications for the Job, was receiVed and filed. ,, An Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance calling for a Special Election to be consolidated with the General State Election to be held December 19th, 1933, to vote bonds for the erection of a City Hall to be located on City owned property on the Southeast corner of Third and Main Streets, City of Santa Ana, Orange County, California, in the principal sum of $70,000.00, conditioned that the Federal Government con- tribute $30,000.00, making a total of $100,000.00." was introduce~,read, considered and referred back to the City Attorney.
