Clyde leave On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried. the application of Ivo Weir for permission to conduct a miniature automobile ,race track at the northwest corner of Second and French Streets was granted providing the license fee of ~3.00 per day is paid. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carrie( C. Downing, City Attorney, was granted a ten day of absence from the State. On motion of Trustee Warner seconded by Penn and carried the hearing on the application of the Santa Ans Community Players Association to erect a meeting hall at the corner of Main and Twentieth Street, was continued until January Snd, 19~4. On motion of ~rustee Warner, seconded by Hssenjaeger and carried, the appointment of Arthur J. Anderson as a spec- ial police officer, was rescinded. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried, Vern M. Spetch was appointed special aerial police officez without pay of the City of Santa Ana. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the Mayor was authorized to sign Project State- ments with the Director of Public Works for the expendi- ture of one-fou~heent of the State gasoline tax alloca- tion for the City of Santa Ana. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the City Council adjourned to Nonday, January 2nd, 1954, at ~:G0 P.M., in the Council Chamber. City ~le~k
