On motion of Trustee War~r, seccmded by NasenJaeger and carried, the Mayor was authorized to appoint a committee to appear before the Board of Supervisors relativ$ to securing a portion of the loa~ to be requested by the Supervisors f~om the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. Trustee Warner, City Attorney ar~ City Auditor were appointed as the committee. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn carried, the quotations submitted by contractors on the construction of a concrete water tank, was referred to Trustee LeGaye and the Water Superintendent. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried the matter relative to const~ucti~ an additional for the protection of pedestrians on the sidewalk l~ated on the north side of E. Fourth ~treet at Main Street, was referred to the Street Commissioner with power to act. # An Ordinance was introduced amending Section 3 of Ordi- nance No. 30, entitled: "An Ordinance in relation to the care and custody of the books, records and papers of the Town, and to Office Hours in the Clerkts Office" and regulating the closing hours of the offices in the City Hall. The Ordinance was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 972 and passed to take effect immediately by the following vote: Ayes, T~ustees A.F. LeOaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C.
