Rose for permission <br />to conduct a Pool Hall at 406 E. Fourth Street, was <br />granted on recommendation of the Chief of Police. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign an <br />agreement with the Santa &ua Municipal Band for a period <br />of one year, providing for ten concerts during the year, <br />emplo~y~ent of not less than thirty-five nor more than <br />fifty men, salaries of musicians and salary of the con- <br />ductor.at $100.00 per month. <br /> <br />An Ordinance was introduced amending and repealing <br /> <br />5 of Ordinance No. $21 requiring the deposit of $2000.00 <br />bond by Plumbing Contractors conducting business in the <br />City of ~anta Aha. The Ordinance was read, considered <br />and referred back to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />An Ordinance l~canai~g the occupation of transient mer- <br />chants in the City of Santa Ana and repealing Section <br />of Ordinance No. 8§8 and amendments thereto was finally <br />read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 987 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, <br /> A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B.
