On motion of Trustee Penn, ascended by Wamner and carried, the petition of residents requesting installation of an electric street light in the center of the block on Twelfth Street between Main and Bush Streets, was re to the Street Cmmnis.si°ner with power to act. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger ~ carried, the monthly reports of the City Officers for Febx,aa~y were referred to the Finance Committee. . On motion of T~ustee Penn, secce~ded by Warner, and car- ried, the Clerk was instructed to dmaw warrants for demands audited by the Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried the request of William Ruddiman of the Unemployed Assn. of Santa Aha to deputize N. H. Floyd and Squire T. Brothers as special police officers to act as watchmen at the headquarters of the Association and to recall the badge issued to Z. Birdsall, was granted. On motion of Trustee Warner, seceded by LeGeye and car- ried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids on the concessions in the Municipal Bowl for the coming season. # A Resolution was introduced opposing the Orange County Water Bill as now proposed and u~ging the representatives from Orange County to exclude the City of Santa Aria from the said Orange County Water District. The resolution was o~dered filed, read, considered, designated Resolu- tion No. 2380 and passed by the following vote; Ayes, Tx,Astees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees None.
