In Re On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, Resolution of Thanks City Attorney was instructed to draw suitable resolution to Messrs.Graham, Pope & Veit~. of thanks for services rendered to the City of Santa Aha by Mr. Graham, President of the Council of Santa Barbara and Mr. Pope, Chief Building Inspector of that City, and also Mr. Veit of Alhambra. In Re On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and Request for carried, the City Attorney was instructed to draft letter Services of Natl. Guard. to Governor Rolph making formal request for services of the National Guard during the present emergency beginning Friday, March 10th, 1933. ~ There being no further business to come before the meeting adjourned. In Re On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Wanner and Inspection carried, the Mayor appointed a committee to act with the of O~y Hall. Building Inspector in making an inspection and report on the condition of the City Hall. Trustees Warner, LeGaye and Building Inspector were appointed as such co~nittee. Committee reported to the Council that the City Hall shoul( be immediately vacated due to its unsafe condition. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, report of Committee was accepted and approved. Trustee Penn, HasenJaeger and Warner were appointed. Committee reported that suitable quarters for City Hall offices had been sebured from the Santora Land Company in their building at Second and Broadway for period of six months. Report was accepted.
