McCuistion <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign. <br /> <br />Assn. <br /> <br />In R~ <br />Petition of <br />Restaurant Owners' <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, the communication of the Southern California <br />Telephone Company acknowledging receipt of Resolution <br />of the City expressing appreciation for cooperation du~- <br />ing the earthquake, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the communication from the Santa Ama I.O.O.F. <br />Lodge expressing appreciation for permission to use the <br />City Bowl for their Regimental Field Meet April 30th, <br />was accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of T--x-astee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the communication from the League of California <br />Municipalities relative to Assembly Bill 1172 hearing, <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried <br />the communication of The Metropolitan Water District <br />with Ordinance No. 32 attached was received and the <br />Clerk was instructed to post copy of Ordinance. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br />the request of C. P. McOuistion for the appointment as a <br />special police officer in connection with his duties a~ <br />manager of The Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company at 416 <br />W. 4th Street, was referred to the Chief of Police and <br />Police Commissioner. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the application of the Cope Electric Company for <br />permission to hang an electric sign for Chas. W. Treve <br />at 214 N. Broadway, was granted under supervision of the <br />Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, the petition of the Reataurant Owners, Assn. of <br /> <br /> <br />
