Witmer. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />Minutes of meetings of April 17th and 24th <br /> were approved as read. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />School Bldg. <br /> <br />Tenth & Main Sts. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Plan of Offices <br /> <br />in Bldg.-10th & Main. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Applications <br /> <br />for S~le of Beer & Wine. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly Reports. <br /> <br />In He · <br /> <br />Monthly Warrants. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bid on <br /> <br />City Hall Property. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the communication of S. I. Preble, Building <br />Inspector, with reference to school building at Tenth <br />and Main Streets was accepted and copy of communication <br />ordered inserted in minutes. <br /> <br /> "Mr. Narver, Mr. Holmes and myself made a thorough <br />inspection of the building at the corner of Tenth and <br />Main Streets and found it structually safe. Frame work <br />should be checked to see there is no dry decay or ter- <br />mites and all loose plaster removed and replastered." <br /> <br />0~ motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee <br />to prepare a plan for the arrangement of city offices in <br />the building at Tenth and Main Streets. Trustees LeGaye, <br />Warner and HasenJaeger were appointed as the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried <br />the applications of C.R. Buraon, 306 Spurgeon Street and <br />W.B. Blakeman, 403 W. 4th Street, to sell beer and wine <br />when same becomes legal in Santa Ana, were received and <br />filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br /> <br />carried, the reports of City Officers for the month of <br />April were referred to the Finance' Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br />the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to <br />demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the Council proceeded to oven bids for the sale <br />of the City Hall property located at the southeast corner <br />of Third and Main Streets as follows: <br /> <br /> "The undersigned, Board of Education of the City of <br />Santa Ana, hereby bids the sum of $50,000.00 for the real <br />property now being sold by the City of Santa Aha, which <br />said property is described in the Resolution and notice <br />of sale published by said City of Santa Ana, to which <br />Resolution reference is hereby made. <br /> This bid is made upon the foll~ng conditions: <br /> <br /> <br />
