Walker, R.G. Tuthill, <br />and R. C. Mtze requesting a set back of five feet on each <br />side of Ross Street from First to Fifth Street. On <br />of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, <br />~the petition was referred to the Planning Commission for <br />recommendation. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Wa~ner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br /> ried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was <br /> accepted and the petition of Property Owners for five foot <br /> set back line on Ross Street from First to Fifth Street, <br /> was granted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br /> carried, the~ communication of the Planning Commission, <br /> urging cooperation in policing the Zoning Ordinance agains <br /> individuals commencing business operations of various <br /> in Residence Zones without change of zone, Special permis- <br /> sion or City License, was referred to the City Attorney <br /> and Police Department. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br /> carried, the Street Superintendent was authorized to <br /> spend the sum of $1SO.O0 for the purchase of trees, sD_rubs <br /> and water lines at the Municipal Bowl, to be used for <br /> landscaping. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Wa~ner and <br /> carried, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign <br /> leases with the Santa Aha Mat Club for the exclusive <br /> right to hold wrestling matches in the Municipal Bowl on <br /> Wednesday evening of each week and with the Motor Sports <br /> Association for the exclusive right to hold motorcycle <br /> races in the Municipal Bowl on Saturday evening of each <br /> week, both leases stipulating the sum of $50.00 as a <br /> guarantee and ten per cent of the gross receipts of the <br /> <br /> performance, including the $50.00 guaranteed . thereunder, <br /> to be paid the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
