On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the application of Cora A. Hudson for a permit to conduct a Fruit Stand at 1211 W. 17th Street, was referred to the Planning Commission. . On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- ried, the application of Paul Sc.hmideke requesting a per- mit or license to sell his produce grown on property that he leases, was referred to the Planning Commission. ,, On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the communication of the National Association of Audubon Societies inquiring whether the Council favored an .ordinance in the City which would provide the licensing of cats and which would authorize the humane disposal of stray cats without licenses, was received and filed for future reference. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign an agreement with F. P. Nickey, Jr. for the exclusive right to handle all concessions at the Santa Aha Municipal Bowl for the coming season, the City to receive 25% of the net profits from the concessions with a guarantee of $100.00. . An Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha, California, ordering and providing for holding a Special Municipal Election in the City of Santa Ana, on Thursday, June Sth, 1933, to vote upon the proposition to legalize ~.2%~ liquor in the City of Santa Aha, giving notice of said Election; designating the polling places, the hours durin which the polls shall be opened, a~d aPpointing ~lect~on officers to serve at said election." was introduced, read, considered and referred back to the City Attorney. ,, On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the ~Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to act in an advisory capacity with the 'S?~mmer Playground Committee.
