In Re Ordinance No. 969 Repealing Bond of Plumbing Contractors. Walnut Streets, under the Emergency Act. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- ried, the application of E. F. Hardy for permission to move a garage building and locate it in the 2300 block South Main Street, was referred to the P~anning Commissio~ An Ordinance was introduced amending a nd repealing Sec- tion 6 of Ordinance No. gl? requiring the ~eposit of a $1000.00 bond by the Plastering Contractore and a $500.00 bond by the Lathing Contractors for conducting business in the City of Santa Ans. The Ordinance was read, con- sidered and referred back to the City Attorney. An Ordinance was introduced amending Sections 4 and 5 of Ordinance No. 662 of the City of Santa Ana prohibiting the manufacture, sale, storage or transportation of intoxicating liquor in the City of Santa Ans. The 0rdi- nance was read, considered and referred back to the City Attorney. An Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance amending Section XXVI of Ordinance No. 817 entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana, regulating travel and traffic upon the public streets; establishing a central traffic district; 'and providing a penalty for the breach of any of the rules or regula- tions regarding traffic in this Ordinance provided, and repealing all Ordinances in conflict herewith" was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 968 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. NOeS, Absent, Trustees None. Trustees None. An Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance repealing Section 5 of the Plumbing Code, designated as Ordinance No. $21 and amendments thereto, providing for appointment of Plumbing Inspector, defining his duties, and fixing his compensation; regulating the method ~ constructing plumbing work, house draining, gas fitting, etc." was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 969 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, No. s, Absent, Trustees J.L, McBride, E.G. Warner, W. H. Penn, A.C. Hasenjaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Trustees None. Trustees None. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and carried, the City Council adjourned.
