Whereas, the City of Santa Ana Joined in the Resolution adopted by the Cities of Orange County, and a copy of Resolution was forwarded to the Board of Supervisors of Orange County: · Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana goes on record as oppose to the plan set forth in Senator Edwardts letter concern- ing the disposition of the Gasoline and Vehicle taxes. Be It ~urther Resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Senator Edwards, and t_hat a copy of the resolution adopted by the different cities throughout Orange County and forwarded to the Board of Supervisors of the Country of Orange, be also sent to Senator N. T. Edwards ·" The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, destg- hated Resolution No. 2356 and passed by the following vote Ayes, Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Noes, Trustees Non~ Absent, Trustees None. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the Clerk was instructed to send copy of Resolu- tion No. 2356 together with copy of Resolution adopted by the Mayors of the Cities of Orange County to Senator Edwards. In Re Reso. No. 2357 Consolidating Election to Legalize Sale of Beer, In Re Resolution Permiting Board of Education to Sell & Purchase City Property. etc. A Resolution was introduced requesting the Board of Super- visors of the County of Orange to consolidate the special city election upon the initiative petition, which has duly checked by the City Clerk, calling for the adoption or rejection of an Ordinance legalizing the sale, etc., of beer and other spirituous liquors in the City of Santa Ana, with the State Election to be held June 27th, 1933. A copy of this resolution was ordered forwarded to the Board of Supervisors and was ordered filed, read, coa- sidered, designated Resolution No. 2357 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees None. On motion of Trustee Warner, secoaded LeGaye and carried, the following Resolution was adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that this Council hereby consents to the purchase by the Board of Education of the City of santa Ana of ¢ real property situated ~t the corner of Third and Main Streets, and that this Council hereby approves said purchase.
