Whereas, the City of Santa Ana Joined in the Resolution <br />adopted by the Cities of Orange County, and a copy of <br />Resolution was forwarded to the Board of Supervisors of <br />Orange County: <br /> · Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the Board of <br />Trustees of the City of Santa Ana goes on record as oppose <br />to the plan set forth in Senator Edwardts letter concern- <br />ing the disposition of the Gasoline and Vehicle taxes. <br /> Be It ~urther Resolved that a copy of this resolution <br />be forwarded to Senator Edwards, and t_hat a copy of the <br />resolution adopted by the different cities throughout <br />Orange County and forwarded to the Board of Supervisors <br />of the Country of Orange, be also sent to Senator N. No. 2357 <br /> <br />Consolidating Election <br /> <br />to Legalize Sale of Beer, <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Resolution <br /> <br />Permiting Board of <br /> <br />Education to Sell & <br /> <br />Purchase City Property. <br /> <br />etc. <br /> <br />A Resolution was introduced requesting the Board of Super- <br />visors of the County of Orange to consolidate the special <br />city election upon the initiative petition, which has <br />duly checked by the City Clerk, calling for the adoption <br />or rejection of an Ordinance legalizing the sale, etc., <br />of beer and other spirituous liquors in the City of Santa <br />Ana, with the State Election to be held June 27th, 1933. <br />A copy of this resolution was ordered forwarded to the <br />Board of Supervisors and was ordered filed, read, coa- <br />sidered, designated Resolution No. 2357 and passed by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, <br /> A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, secoaded LeGaye and carried, <br />the following Resolution was adopted: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana that this Council hereby consents to the purchase by <br />the Board of Education of the City of santa Ana of ¢ <br />real property situated ~t the corner of Third and Main <br />Streets, and that this Council hereby approves said <br />purchase. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Ayes, Trustees A.F.
