Boulevard. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Applications <br /> <br />Paul Schmideke <br /> <br />& Cora A. Hudson. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Letter of Apreciation <br /> <br />Pacific Elect. Railway Co. <br /> <br />City issue a license to cover five motor buses for the <br />pe~-iod from April 1st to June 30th, 1933, inclusive and <br />tendering $25.00 in cash in payment of same, was referred <br />to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the application of John H. Wilson for a license to oper- <br />ate taxicabs under the name of the Home Cab Company, was <br />granted; Mr. Wilson agreeing to pay the license fee for <br />the past year in monthly payments, to adhere to the regu- <br />lar schedule of rates as charged by the Courtesy Cab Co. <br />and to dismiss action against the City Clerk, now pending <br />in the Appellate Court. <br /> <br />Gn motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br />ried, the communication and executed copy of Earthquake <br />Relief Agreement No. O-A, covering supplemental allotment <br />to the City in amount ~f $3,602.60 from the Division of <br />Highways of the State of California, were received and <br />filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HazenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign an <br />agreement with W. O. Marriott as caretaker at the Forest <br />Home Camp Grounds for the current season, May 1st, 1933, <br />to October 15th, 1933. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, it was decided that proper steps be taken for <br />the r~moval of produce stands now in place on Santa Aha <br />Boulevard, which ~re in the Residential Zone. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission <br />was accepted and the application of Paul Schmideke, ll20 <br />W. 17th Street and Cora A. Hudson, 1211 W. 17th Street to <br />conduct produce stands at said locations, were denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, secc~ded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to write a letter to <br />D. W. Pontius, General Manager of the Pacific Electric <br />Railway Company, expressing appreciation for the repair <br />work made on the roadbed of their tracks on West Fourth <br /> <br />'Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
