No. 2358 Ordering Improvement Abandonment Portion Olive St. In Re Ordinance No. 977 Prohibiting Radio Interference On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and the property at 517 W. Seventeenth Street Was ordered posted for Special Uses and the hearing date set June 5th, 1933, in accordance with the application of Emory B. Lambert and H. N. Brothers, Jr. to conduct a garag'e · ,, On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the Clerk was instructed to refuse the issuance of a city license for produce stand of W. W. Gardner at 1080 W. Seventeenth Street, when application is made for renewal. This being the time and place set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 2353 that the public interest and convenienc requires the work hereinafter described, and the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby order the follow- ing street in said City to be closed up and abandoned, as follows: ~ The Easterly 20 feet of Olive Street as it exists between Eighth Street and a line parallel to and distant 5 chains Southerly from the center line thereof, as des- cribed in deed by Bertha Sackman, recorded in Book 227, Page 300, of Deeds, Records of Orange County, California, said portion of Olive Street being the Easterly 20 feet of that portion of Olive Street conveyed by John William Sackman and Gertrude .E. Sackman by deed, recorded in Book 449, Page 198 of Official Records, Records of Orange County, California. No person appearing to protest or object to the work as set forth in Resolution No. 2353 and no written protests having been filed, a resolution was introduced ordering the improvement. The Resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, designated Resolution Ordering Improvement No. 2358 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees None. An Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance prohibiting interference with the reception of radio broadcast signals, and repealing Ordinance No. 878 adopted by the Council on June 17,1929." was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 977 and passed'by the following vote: Ayes, Nee S, Absent, Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W 'H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Trustees None. Trustees None.
