On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, May 29th, 1933, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber. APPROVED: Mayor of the City of Santa Ana. City ~1 e~-k. Santa Aha City Hall. May 29th, 1933. 7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Absent: Trustees None. In Re Flag Day Celebration. In Re Offer of James B. Utt. In Re Application Jules ~. Markel. In Re Application A. E. Lewis. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried the communication of the Santa Ana Elks Lodge inviting th~ Council to Join them in the Flag Day Celebration, June 14th in the Municipal Bowl at 7:30 P.M., was received and filed and the Clerk instructed to advise the Lodge that the Council will cooperate in the Celebration. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the communication of James B. Utt offering to sell ornamental trees for highway and park planting for the snm of 25~ each, was referred to the Forestry Board. On motion of carried, the Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and application of Jules W. Markel for the posi- tion of manager of construction for the re-modeling and alteration of the Frances Willard School Building at Tenth & Main Street, was referred to the Building Committee. ,, On motio~ of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the application of A. E. Lewis for permission to operate the Broadway Taxi Cab at 303 N. Broadway with three taxi- cabs, was referred to the Taxicab Commission.
