On motion of Trustee RasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the deed on property known as Lots 3 and 6 of the Main Street Tract as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3 Page 20 of Miscellaneous Mapsof Orange County, Californ%a, residue of the Charles G. Bowers Estate, was accepted and the Clerk instructed to have deed recorded. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Hasenjaeger and car tied, the Plan as submitted by the Planning Con~nission of a project to be financed by R. F. C. ~unds in the Unemploy merit Relief Program to be supervised by the City Engineer and the Planning Co~nission for the gathering of data pertaining to Planning, was approved. . On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of Angel Reyez to sell legal on-s beverages at 2026 W. Fifth Street, was granted with the provision that license will be revocable if person or firm does not comply with the Ordinance regulating such busines A resolution was introduced extending to J. S. Smart, W. D. Raney, Hugh Gerrard, Dr. George A. Warmer and Wm. H. Spurgeon a deep appreciation for the invaluable services rendered the City of Santa Aha by them as members of the CitiZens Unemployment Committee. The Clerk wao:~instructed to send copy of Resolution to each member ortho conunittee. The Resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, desig- nated Resolution No. 2364 and passed by the following vote Ayes, Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Noe~, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees None. A Resolution was introduced resolving that the City Cou_u- cil petition the Railroad Commission of the State of California to call a hearing for the purpose of reducing the rates existing in the City of Santa Aha on the follow- ing public utilities, to-wit: Southern California Edison Company, Southern Counties bas Company and the Southern California Telephone Company and that the proper officers of the City Council be authorized to take the necessary steps as requi~ed by law to have a hearing before the Railroad Commission for the reduction of public utility rates.
