Goetz for the improvement of <br />the street at the entrance of his service station at Soutl <br />Main Street and Goetz Street, was denied and the report <br />of the comsntttee on investigation was accepted on the <br />cost of the work. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the appointment of H. J. Baxter as special police <br />officer during the meetings at the John Brown Tabernacle, <br />was revoked and the Clerk was instructed to notify Mr. <br />Baxter of the Council's action. <br /> <br />On motion cf Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the statement for housing transient men and <br />women in amount of $11.75 was referred back to the <br />Y.W.C.A. for checking. <br /> <br />A committee of doctors and dentists appeared before the <br />Council in regard to the Ordinance presented prohibiting <br />and regulating the use of appliances and equipment or <br />apparatus which interferes with radio reception. No <br />action was taken. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, the City Engineer was instr~cted to notify the <br />architect of the building to be erected at the northeast <br />corner of Fourth and Main Streets, that they may use the <br /> <br />sidewalk on the east side of Main Street providing that <br /> west of the east curb line <br />a four foot sidewalk/is made on the street and that at <br /> <br />least six feet is cleared for sidewalk on the north side <br />of Fourth Street. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by McBride an~ <br /> <br />carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, January <br />30th, 1933, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />AP PR OVED: <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of Santa Aha. <br /> <br /> <br />
