Pearl for refund of <br />City license on apartments located at 5u8 Cypress Ave. <br />denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye, and <br />carried, application of Westley J. Myers for permit to <br />drive taxicab for the Broadway Cab, was referred to the <br />Taxicab Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee War, er, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, Leslie J. Fountain was appointed special polic~ <br />officer of the City, without pay. <br /> <br />A communication was read by City Attorney Clyde C. <br />Downing from Forgy, Reinhaus & Forgy relative to <br />clause and specifications protecting local insurance <br />agents, the clause reading as follows: "The bonds and <br />insurance required by or incidental to the performar~e <br />of this contract shall be obtained frGn and through <br />authorized agents or brokers maintaining offices within <br />the City, provided additional cost is not occasioned <br />thereby", and on motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconde~ <br />by Penn, the Council wished to go on record as favoring <br />such a plan and that all future advertising for bids <br /> <br /> <br />
