In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 39 <br /> <br />Metropolitan Water District <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Release <br /> <br /> R~mp Estate <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Agreement <br /> <br />Legal Advertising <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Agreement <br /> <br />City of Santa Ara and <br /> <br />Delhi Drainage District <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Closing ~s- Pool Halls <br /> <br />OrdLuance No. 983 <br /> <br /> shall contain this clause. <br /> <br /> O~ motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seceded by <br /> <br /> Penn and carried, the communication and Ordinance <br /> No. 39 of the Metropolitan Water Dis trict were <br /> received and the Clerk instructed to post Ordinance <br /> No, 39 on the bulletin board. <br /> <br /> A release ~contract signed by the~directors of the <br /> Ru~up Estate was read to the Council, which releases <br /> the City from any obligation for upkeep or maint- <br /> ~nce of a Pipe line thru the Rurup Estate on the <br /> WeSt Side of North Flower Street, and on motion of <br /> ~rustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried <br /> the City is to pay the agreed pri~e of $170.00 from <br /> the street ~hAnd in addition to accepting the releas <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Hasenjaeger~ <br /> and carrie~ the Mayor and Clerk were authc~ized to <br /> sign agreement between the Register Publishing Comp <br /> <br /> publishers of the Santa Ara Daily Evening Register, <br /> and the City of Santa Ana, <br /> covering legal advertising until August 1, 1934. <br /> <br /> . <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by <br /> LeGaye and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were <br /> instructed to sign agreement between the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ara and the Delhi Drain~e District, which <br />easement covers, a period of five years from the dar <br />of Said contract for the purpose of draining and <br />emptying storm and overflow waters from the streets <br />and areas within the boundaries of the City of Sant~ <br />Ara into the drainage ditches of the Delhi Drainage <br />District. <br /> <br />An Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance closing all billiard parlors <br /> and pool halls operated in the City of Santa <br /> Ara, Orange County, California, between the <br /> hours of 12:30 A.M. and 6:30 A.M.!' <br /> <br />was finally r~ad, considered, designated Or~ nance <br />No. 983, and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br />Absent,Trustees <br /> <br />A.F.
