In Re Ordinance No. 984 Dog licenses, etc. An Ordinance entitled: "Au Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana, fixing the license fees to be paid on dogs, esta01ishing the office of pou~xi- keeper, and setting out the duties to be performed by him and fixing his compensation" was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 984, and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees: A.F. LeGaye, E.G.Warner, W.H.Penn, A.C.HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Noes, Trustees: None Absent, Trustees: None. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn~ and carried, the City Council a~ curned. APPROVED: City $Cl~rk. Santa Ana City Hall. Sept. 5th, 1933. 7:30 P.h~. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A. C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Absent: Trustees None. Minutes of meetings of August 21st & 28th were approved as read. In Re Communications Cities of Riverside and Pasadena. In Re Request of S.A. City Schools. Communications were read from the City of Pasadena and the City of Riverside requesting cooperation and support to hold the California League of Municipalities Conventio~ in their cities next year. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, the c~unicatiormwere received and filed. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and car- ried, the request of Geo. D. Newcom, Secretary to the Santa Ana City Schools to deputize Mr. Otto Clyde at the High School without pay and the Clerk was instructed to advise Mr. A.R. Krause, who has been serving in that capacity to turn in his deputy badge.
