In Re Rescind Action Deed--Chas.W.Bowers In Re Liability on Bowers Memorial Museum. In ~e Reso. No. 2367. Acceptance Charles W. In Re Ordinance Amending ~'ater In Re Ordinance Amending License Property. of Deed Bowers Property. Ordinance. Ordinance. APPROVE~: On motion of T~ustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, it was decided to rescind the action of the Council taken at meeting held July 31st, 1933, with reference to accepting deed on property known as Lots 3 and/of the Main Street Tract, of the Charles W. Bowers Estate. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the City Attorney was requested to give an opinion on the liability or responsibility of the City in regard to the present status of the Charles G. Bowers Memorial Museum. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the following Resolution No. 2367 was adopted: "That ~reas, ~ude~the te~ms of the trust known as Charles W. Bowers Museum, ~he following described real property to-wit: Lots 3 and 5 of the "Main Street Tract" as shown on Map recorded in Book 3 Page 20 of Miscellane- ous Maps of Orange County, California, is ready to be deeded to the City of Santa Ana, and Whereas, it is advisable to accept said real property above described to be entitled to tax exemption Now, Therefore, be it resolved that the real property described herein be accepted by the City of Santa Ana and the City Clerk be directed to record said deed." The resolution was ordered filed, read, cons~ered, designated Resolution No. 2367 and passed by the follow- ing vote: Ayes, Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. Hasenjaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees None. An Ordinance was introduced amending Section 2 of Ordi- nance No. 830 to change the water rates for.public school in the City of Santa Ans. The Ordinance was read, con- sidered and referred back to the City Attorney. Section 5 of An Ordinance was introduced amending/Ordinance No. 658 and amendments thereto fixing penalties for non-payment of business licenses.in the City of Santa Ana. The Ordinance was read, considered and referred back to the City Attorney. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, September llth, 1933, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council C~mber.
