No. 2367. <br /> <br />Acceptance <br /> <br />Charles W. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />Amending ~'ater <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />Amending License <br /> <br />Property. <br /> <br />of Deed <br /> <br />Bowers Property. <br /> <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />APPROVE~: <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, it was decided to rescind the action of the <br />Council taken at meeting held July 31st, 1933, with <br />reference to accepting deed on property known as Lots 3 <br />and/of the Main Street Tract, of the Charles W. Bowers <br />Estate. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and <br /> <br />carried, the City Attorney was requested to give an <br /> <br />opinion on the liability or responsibility of the City in <br /> <br />regard to the present status of the Charles G. Bowers <br /> <br />Memorial Museum. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br /> <br />carried, the following Resolution No. 2367 was adopted: <br /> <br /> "That ~reas, ~ude~the te~ms of the trust known as <br />Charles W. Bowers Museum, ~he following described real <br />property to-wit: Lots 3 and 5 of the "Main Street Tract" <br />as shown on Map recorded in Book 3 Page 20 of Miscellane- <br />ous Maps of Orange County, California, is ready to be <br />deeded to the City of Santa Ana, and <br /> Whereas, it is advisable to accept said real property <br />above described to be entitled to tax exemption <br /> Now, Therefore, be it resolved that the real property <br />described herein be accepted by the City of Santa Ana <br />and the City Clerk be directed to record said deed." <br /> The resolution was ordered filed, read, cons~ered, <br />designated Resolution No. 2367 and passed by the follow- <br />ing vote: <br /> Ayes, Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, <br /> A.C. Hasenjaeger, Paul B. Witmer. <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />An Ordinance was introduced amending Section 2 of Ordi- <br />nance No. 830 to change the water rates for.public school <br />in the City of Santa Ans. The Ordinance was read, con- <br />sidered and referred back to the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> Section 5 of <br />An Ordinance was introduced amending/Ordinance No. 658 <br /> <br />and amendments thereto fixing penalties for non-payment <br />of business licenses.in the City of Santa Ana. The <br />Ordinance was read, considered and referred back to the <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, September <br />llth, 1933, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council C~mber. <br /> <br /> <br />
