On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried the application of Bunny Willey for use of the Municipal Bowl to conduct an auto polo match September 29th, was denied. ,, On motien of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried the application of Harold D. Picketing for the Job as Poundmaster of the City and the matter of salary of the Poundmaster, was referred to the Police Commissioner to report back in one week. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried the action of the City Council as of July 8th, 1929, was rescinded denying the request of Geo. F. Spangler to con- duct his business of blacksmithtng on Sycamore Street betwoen Second and ~hird Streets and the Clerk was autho- rized to ~oltect and is sue license. An Ordinance entitled:. "An Ordinance repealing Paragraph 9, Section 5 of Ordinance #658 and amendments thereto, and adding Para- graph 9 of Section 5 of Ordinance #658 and amendments thereto entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the li cenming of business, show~ exhibitions and games, conducted or carried on in the City of Santa Ana, fixing the rate of license therefor, and providing for collect- ion thereof." was finally r~ad, considered, designated Ordinance No. 986 and passed by the following vote: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. Hasenjaeger. Aye s, Noes, Absent, Trustees None. Trustees Paul B. Witmer. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried. the City Council adjourned to Monday, Septembor 2§th, 1933, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber. AP P ROV~ y
