Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. Present: Trustees A. F. LeGaye, E. G. Warner, A. C. Hasenjaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Absent: Trustees W. H. Penn. Minutes of meetings of May 21st and 28th were approved as read. In Re Invitation--Construction Industries of Orange Count~. In Re Application Roy W. Crenshaw. In Re Application J. H. Britenstine. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the invitation of the Construction Industries of Orange County to attend the first annual banquet to be held at the American Legion Hall at 6:30 P.M., June 12th, was accepted and the Mayor authorized to appoint a com- mittee of one to attend the banquet. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- ried, the application of Roy W. Crenshaw for a permit to drive a taxicab for C. W. Williams, was granted on recom- mendation of the Taxicab Commission. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the application of J. H. Britenstine for permis- sion to operate a pool hall at 902 E. Fourth Street, was referred to the Planning Commission~ and referred back to the Council stating that no~ posting was required. On motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by Warner and car- tied, the application of J. H. Britenstine for permit to operate a pool hall at 902 E. Fourth Street was referred to the Polic e Commission and Chief of Police for investi- gation.
