Young. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Summer Playgrounds <br /> <br />under Supervision of S.E.H.A. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br />~ied, the communication of Fred M. Young endorsing an <br />editorial in the Santa Ana Register and extending his <br />thanks to the Council for cutting the Cityrs expenses <br />thirty per cent, was received and the Clerk instructed <br />to write a letter of appr$ciation to Mr. Fred M. Young <br />with reference to the editorial printed. <br /> <br />A communication was read from the SuPerintendent of the <br />Santa Ana City Schools stating that the State Emergency <br />Relief Administration had delegated the High School Dis- <br />tricts of the State the responsibility of organizing the <br />summer recreation program. The S.E.R.A. paying $2981.00 <br />for relief wages, the Board of Education agreeing to pay <br />$580.00 for supervision and equipment and requesting the <br />~um of $250.00 from the City of Santa Aha for eonsumable <br />supplies. On motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by <br /> <br />Warner and carried, the communication of the Santa <br /> <br />City Schools was received and filed for further study. <br /> <br /> <br />
