On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried~ the recommendation of the Planning commission was accepte( and the application of H. C. Hood for permit to erect a service station wam granted under special uses as posted. On motion of Trusbee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of C. F. Lindsey and others for the rezoning of property described as Lots 13, 14, 15, 16, and 18 of Block E of Hawkins Addition, Lots 8 and 9 of Block D of Hawkins Addition and a triangular piece at the northeast cc~ner of Fruit and Santiago Streets to Light Industrial Zone, was referred to the Planning Commission. No protests having been filed, on motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and the applica- tion of C. F. Lindsey and others for re~oning of property in Hawkins Addition to Light Industrial Zone, was granted. Trustee On motion of/Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, Mr. Fred C. Rowland was appointed Trustee of the Third Ward to fill the vacancy made by the resignation of Mayor Paul B. Witmer. Roll Call: Ayes, Trustees E. G. Warner, W. H. Penn, plummet B. Bruns. Noes, Trustees A. F. LeGaye. Absent, Trustees None. · On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried. Trustee LeGaye was appointed as a committee of one to contact Messrs. A. I. Mellenthin, A. C. HasenJaeger, Frank Was and C. K. Dodds, bankers~ of the City with reference to disuussion on the action to be taken by the City for refinancing the 1915 Improvement Bond delinquenc: s. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- ried, the recommendation of the Personnell Officer was accepted and the application of F. W. Lockhart for an appoir~tment as a special police officer of the City withou pay, was granted. An Ordinance entitled:' "An Ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 809 to change the zone on Lots 13, 14, 15, 18, 17 and Block E, Hawkins Addition, Lots $ and 9, Block D, Hawkins Addition and a triangular piece of property at the northeast corner of Fruit and Santiago Streets, from Two Family and Apartment House Zone to Light Indus trial Bone." was introduced, read, ooneide~ed and referred back to the City Attorney.
