C. Hood for permit to erect a <br /> service station wam granted under special uses as posted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trusbee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> the application of C. F. Lindsey and others for the <br /> rezoning of property described as Lots 13, 14, 15, 16, <br /> and 18 of Block E of Hawkins Addition, Lots 8 and 9 of <br /> Block D of Hawkins Addition and a triangular piece at the <br /> northeast cc~ner of Fruit and Santiago Streets to Light <br /> Industrial Zone, was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> No protests having been filed, on motion of Trustee <br /> Warner, seconded by Penn and carried, the recommendation <br /> of the Planning Commission was accepted and the applica- <br /> tion of C. F. Lindsey and others for re~oning of property <br /> in Hawkins Addition to Light Industrial Zone, was granted. <br /> <br /> Trustee <br /> On motion of/Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, Mr. <br /> <br /> Fred C. Rowland was appointed Trustee of the Third Ward <br /> to fill the vacancy made by the resignation of Mayor <br /> Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br /> Roll Call: Ayes, Trustees E. G. Warner, W. H. Penn, <br /> plummet B. Bruns. <br /> Noes, Trustees A. F. LeGaye. <br /> Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />· On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried. <br />Trustee LeGaye was appointed as a committee of one to <br />contact Messrs. A. I. Mellenthin, A. C. HasenJaeger, <br /> <br /> Frank Was and C. K. Dodds, bankers~ of the City with <br /> reference to disuussion on the action to be taken by the <br /> City for refinancing the 1915 Improvement Bond delinquenc: s. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br /> ried, the recommendation of the Personnell Officer was <br /> accepted and the application of F. W. Lockhart for an <br /> appoir~tment as a special police officer of the City withou <br /> pay, was granted. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance entitled:' <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 809 to <br /> change the zone on Lots 13, 14, 15, 18, 17 and <br /> Block E, Hawkins Addition, Lots $ and 9, Block D, <br /> Hawkins Addition and a triangular piece of property <br /> at the northeast corner of Fruit and Santiago <br /> Streets, from Two Family and Apartment House Zone to <br /> Light Indus trial Bone." <br /> <br />was introduced, read, ooneide~ed and referred back to the <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />
