Meeting called to order by Mayor Warner. Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, Fred C. Howland, W.H. Penn, Plummet W. Bruns, E.G. Warner~ Absent: Trustees None. Minutes of meetings of June 18th and 2§th were approved as read. In Re Communications Company "L", and others. In Re Application Sinclair for Governor Club. In Re Orange County Division of the S.E.R.A. In Re Communication i~I Sou.Cai.League of Municipalities. On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Penn and carried the communications of Company "L" l$Sth Infantry, Santa Ana Post No. 131, The American Legion, Veterans of Foreigr. Wars, Calumpit Camp United Spanish War Veterans and the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce expressing their thanks for the Council's appropriation to Company "L" Mess Fund, were received and filed. . On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of the Sinclair for Governor Club for use of Birch Park on the evening of July 4th, fo~ a free!pub- lic mass meeting, was granted. ,, On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the communication of the Orange County Division of the S.E.R.A. with reference to fostering worth-while projects in an effort to put men and women to work without de~ay, was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the communication of the Southern California League of Municipalities with reference to Initative Measure pro- posed to be submitted to the people at the November 6th election for gasoline tax allocation, was received and filed for future reference.
