Main Street, to be used for <br /> lumber yard purposes, was referred to the Planning Commissiol <br /> ., <br /> <br /> On motion of T~mstee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the application of the Gilmore 0il Company for a permit to <br /> erect a service station at the Northwest corner of Main a~ <br /> Seventeenth Streets~ was referred to the Planning Commission <br /> On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion <br /> of Trustee Penn, seconded by B~uns and carried, the property <br /> at the northwest corner of Main and Seventeenth Streets was <br /> ordered posted for special uses and the hearing date set <br /> April 2R~h, 1935, in accordance with the application of the <br /> Gilmore0il Company. <br /> <br />The committee appointed to investigate the construction of <br />a viaduct on East First Street as a project under Federal <br />Emergency ReIi&f, requested the City Engineer to ascertain <br />from the Department of Public Works the amount of money the <br />City of Santa Ana is expected to expend and also the sum to~ <br />be received from Fsderal Relief funds. <br /> <br />On motion of TRustee B~uns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the matter of rezoning the southwest portion of the City <br />from Single Family Residence Zone to Heavy Industrial Zone, <br />was referred to the Planning Co~m~ission. There being no <br />written or oral protests, the Planning Commission recommende~ <br />that said property be rezoned subject to the provision that <br />a set-back of drilling sites be maintained of at least 180 <br />feet from the property lines abutting First and Bristol Sts, <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 809 to change <br />the Zone upon that portion of the City of Santa Ana bounded <br />on the West by the City Limits, on the North by Fifth Street, <br />on the East by Townsend Street, on the North by First Street, <br />on the East by Bristol Street, on the South by Monte Vista <br />Avenue, on the West by Sullivan Street and on the South by <br />Myrtle Street, from Single Family Residence Zone to Heavy <br />Industrial Zone" <br /> <br />was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1013 <br />and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, <br /> <br />T~n~stees Joseph P.
